No chance now. Lawler is expected to lose the race for Memphis mayor after pulling only %4 in the poll. Memphis residents state that they would rather have an African American as their mayor, as it would not appear as a racial offense. Many believed that Lawler was going to leave the Raw announce table, but that seems impossible now.

He thought that he would be a good candidate because he is one of the major figures of Memphis. But it got to the point where he was wearing "Vote For Lawler" T-Shirts on Raw. Waste of time in my opinion.
